The growth prospect is a rather important point when choosing a job. Over time, we improve our skills, learn new things and, accordingly, want and deserve professional growth, both in terms of positions and in terms of salaries. But not every company can offer this, as well as not every employee is really suitable for this. You don't even want a raise

You can consider the current work as a dead end if, if possible, you are not even interested in such an option. A sense of disinterest indicates that the work is clearly not comfortable with you. You do not want new responsibilities, you are not attracted to new opportunities in this company. In this case, it is clearly worth thinking about changes, since you can no longer move on.
No one has been raised a salary for years

Not everyone is interested in career advancement, therefore the lack of such an opportunity is not always a critical factor. But if for a long period none of the employees was raised their salaries, then it is worth being wary. Adjustment of salaries taking into account seniority, inflation and increasing the cost of living should be. Otherwise, this work can be called futile. In addition to raising salaries, it is worth considering the improvement of the social package, other benefits and incentives.
No promotions for current employees

You may encounter a situation where, when new posts appear or are removed, new people with suitable qualifications are hired in the company, rather than upgrading current employees. It may seem to you that neither the experience nor the experience of its employees is appreciated in this company, and no prospects are expected here. However, in most cases this happens because current employees simply do not approach a more responsible position.

If you just worked in the company for five years, this does not mean that you are worthy of promotion. What have you done during this time to get better? How many new ideas have you proposed? How many of these ideas have been implemented? In this case, only by analyzing personal achievements and the quality of work, you can determine your prospects. But if you really tried, and the internal increase still bypasses you, it is quite possible that specifically with this company you are not on the way.
No room for improvement

Promotion always requires certain circumstances: the presence of a hierarchy in the company, the opportunity to try yourself in a different role, take on additional responsibilities, etc. This is important not only in the current job, but also when you are getting a new job. If you are planning your career growth, is it worth agreeing to the proposals of companies, in which this is not possible?

But you should always consider that even with the potential lack of opportunities, you can create them yourself. Most restrictions are not really those. And if you set a goal for yourself and go to it, this goal will certainly meet your needs.
